Also called Japanese aralia it’s a tough plant with large glossy leaves. These gleaming, hand-shaped leaves are smaller at the top and broader toward the bottom of the Shrub, allowing them to absorb as much sunshine as possible, even in a dark location.
Leaves are alternate, palmate lobed and large with a speckled white variegation especially near the edges but it may cover the entire blade.
Sunlight: Low to medium filtered light. Intense, direct sun will result in sun burnt.
Water: 2-3 times a week.
Fertiliser: Recommend slow release nutricote or organic Aquis organic lactobacilus fertilizer.
Plant Size: Approx. 35 cm height.
