NPK 58 Flowering Special Fertiliser is a compound fertiliser that is used to promote stronger flowering and nutrient absorption in crops, garden plants, ornamental plants and house plants.
Contains:
Nitrogen (N) - 7%
Phosphorous (P) - 14%
Potassium (K) - 21%
Magnesium Oxide (MgO) - 2%
Trace Elements
What is NPK?
The three main numbers on fertiliser packaging represents the value of the three major macro-nutrients used by plants. They are Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (P), and Potassium (K).
Nitrogen (N) - Nitrogen is largely responsible for the growth of leaves on the plant.
Phosphorus (P) - Phosphorus is largely responsible for root growth and flower and fruit development.
Potassium (K) - Potassium is a nutrient that helps the overall functions of the plant perform correctly.
Knowing the NPK values of a fertiliser will help you make an informed decision on which to choose for your plants. If you want to fertiliser flowering plants, they would benefit from a fertiliser with higher Phosphorous values. Alternatively, for leafy plants, you would want more Nitrogen in your fertiliser.
