Alocasia scalprum is a popular choice for houseplants due to its impressive foliage. It brings a sculptural appeal with its thick, rubbery elongated leaves. It is less susceptible to pests but can be similarly affected by root rot or bacteria diseases if overwatered.
Sunlight: Bright shade, indirect sunlight. Too much of direct sun might scorch the leaves.
Water: Water deeply and thoroughly (till water seeps out of drainage hole) when the top few inches of the potting mix is dry
Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or soild fertiliser over the soil.
