Calatheas are normally a low growing plant, shade lovers with colourful leaves. Calathea lutea however is a much taller growing species, up to around 3-4m. It is sometimes recommended as an indoor plant, but needs bright conditions and overhead light to avoid it growing on a strange angle.
Sunlight: Semi-Shade, Full Shade
Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or sprinkling solid fertiliser over the soil.
