Pumice stone is a type of porous volcanic rock with high drainage and aeration properties.
It can be used as a medium for alkaline loving plants. It can also be mixed into soil to improve drainage and aeration, also contains trace elements of nutrients which can promote root growth and vigorous growth. Pumice is also inorganic, meaning it will not decompose or compact over time, and will not attract insects, fungi or nematodes.
Directions for Use:
- Use as a medium for alkaline loving plants.
- Mix into soil to create a potting mix with improved drainage and aeration.
- Use as decoration in terrariums or glass pot gardens.
- Use as a mulch, while providing aesthetics and moisture retention to the garden bed.
